Anna Daan Seva — The Highest Charity

Anna Daan Seva
The Glory of Anna Daan

Food offered to the Lord becomes His mercy

In the Vedic tradition Anna Daan is revered as the most meritorious form of charity, for food sustains life itself. Lord Krishna declares in the Bhagavad Gita that He is the fire of digestion in every living being — thus feeding someone is directly serving the Lord.

Our Anna Daan programme serves wholesome, sanctified prasadam to devotees, students and the underprivileged across Visakhapatnam — every day, every festival, and during natural disasters and special occasions. Each plate is cooked with devotion in a hygienic kitchen and offered to the Lord before it reaches the one who hungers.
